Before any blending happens, your child needs comfort with the individual sounds that letters make. Not the names. The sounds.

This phase is the quiet groundwork. You'll work through the flashcards together, sorting them gently into what's familiar and what's still developing. There's no test, no pressure, no race. Just short, repeated exposure until the sounds start to feel known.

The videos below will walk you through how to run a flashcard session, how to say the sounds cleanly (this matters more than you'd think), and how to know when your child is ready to move to the bolt. Watch them in order the first time. Come back to any of them whenever you need a refresher.
